Ongoing Renovation Project of Two Barn Conversions
Background
This is an ongoing renovation project involving the conversion of two barns. The scope of work has included the installation of 150mm floor insulation, a damp-proof membrane, and underfloor heating throughout both properties, so far.
Scope of Works
The design of the complete heating system has also been undertaken, with an air source heat pump allocated to each property. The system has been engineered to operate at a 30-degree flow temperature and will run on an open-loop configuration, optimising efficiency.
To date, we have completed the first fix for both properties, which include main bathrooms, en suite bathrooms, utility rooms, and dedicated plant rooms. Our engineers have installed Continal underfloor heating with 150mm pipe spacing to ensure the heating systems are as efficient and effective as possible.
This combination of advanced system design and quality installation guarantees both properties will benefit from modern, sustainable heating solutions.
